This motion gave birth to the LTNS.LTNS primarily depends on government funding from the City of Los Angeles to support its services.

Volunteers serve meals to senior citizens as part of the Little Tokyo Nutrition Services.

LTNS has provided meals and social interaction for seniors since 1976.The Japanese American Cultural Community Center opened 2024 with Kickin It at the Kaikan.
